The Benefits of Rubber Stable Mats

rubber stable mats

If we think carefully, rubber is an essential part of our lives these days. The tires on your wheelbarrow, your ear phones, your bendable curry comb and the soles of your shoes; chances are, they are manufactured using rubber. However one of the most popular applications of rubber is underfoot. In the environment of a barn or a stable, rubber floors and stable mats minimises the risks of a horse falling on the hard and abrasive concrete floor. Rubber stable mats assist in cushioning the limbs of the horse after standing for long periods of time, making it the surface more comfortable and relaxing

Rubber mats are an excellent flooring solution for stables because of the durability, strength and comfort that rubber offers. Following are some of the fundamental advantages of rubber stable flooring:

·       Slip-resistance: The nonslip nature of rubber massively reduces the hazard of falls and slips. Falls often occur when the horses attempt to get up from the concrete floors. Rubber mats provide an outstanding friction, increasing the degree of stability for the horses.

·       Cushioning: It’s vital to protect the horse’s joints and muscles from exhaustion and pressure which is why rubber mats provide a protective layer of padding that provides maximum shock absorption, keeping the horses health and cheerful.

·     Insulation: The cold and damp concrete floors can be extremely discomforting for the horses. Rubber provides an efficient cold floor insulation keeping the horses warm and relaxed during winters.

·         Smell: The rubber stable mats that drain appropriately greatly diminish the accumulation of ammonia vapours in the atmosphere in comparison to other flooring surfaces like straw or wood-shavings that often trap the urine, generating an unpleasant smell in the environment of stable. For a hygienic and cleanliness, it is a must to install flooring that provides proper drainage so that the surface is dry and free from contaminations.

·       Easy cleaning: Rubber mats result in a substantial reduction in the effort and time taken to wash and clean the stable floors.

·      Durability: The heavy duty material used in the manufacture of these stable mats keeps the flooring surfaces damage resistant and enables them to withstand even the harsh and adverse circumstances, therefore lasts longer than any other material.

Cost-effective: The initial installation of rubber stable mats requires an investment however they pay themselves back with all the money saved on repairs, replacements and other sorts of labour.

Endearing Kennel Flooring

The dog is large with a speckled fleece and an imprudent ruff of hairy wool around the neck and a stretched out tail twisted like the hook of a hanger. The head is little compared to the neck and rest of the body. She leans in her saddle of bulky leather, fastened with the sort of cord you could moor a boat with. For all that huskiness she jumps around like a puppy and then thrusts her body into against mine as soon as I'm near enough. Soon, my hand is coated with the slaver, her abrasive tongue almost dribbling with every drop. Her tail isn’t swaying from side to side but is making circular rotations similar to the blades of a helicopter. I really fancy taking her back home but according to the owner, she can climb up tall railings and munch on the doors. So I guess I have to compromise for the slobbery hands after school. She sits down like a champ as I pull out the treats of beef and put them one after another on her snout. With a quick topple over of the head, she eats the piece in a single bite and awaits the next one until all of them are finished.

This is an excellent pet care centre where all the dogs are admirably supervised and protected. The kennel floors are carpeted with rubber mats that are crucial for the durability, enticement and tidiness of the centre. The anti-fatigue qualities offer cushioning and comfort and prevent the stress on the joints and feet of the animals. A strict hygiene is maintained as the surface allows a quick and convenient cleaning. The noise reduction features maintain a peaceful environment. There is an outstanding floor to foot cold insulation keeping the comfort and health of the animals in consideration. This rubber flooring provides a resilient and hard wearing surface for dog play or for any other competition. In today’s pet loving society there are numerous people who own dogs and other pets, however not all are able to provide them with the necessary comfort and attention. A kennel can be a miserable place if it is not properly taken care of. Hard traditional concrete surfaces don’t provide any comfort to the paws of the animals in contrast to the rubber mats that offer a shield of protection because rubber has a greater degree of elasticity and dogs are therefore less likely to suffer fatigue. Visiting this place every other day made me realise a dog’s home away from the true home is imperfect in the absence of any kennel flooring.
